Hi all..!

I'm a noob in this 3D thing, as i would like to learn by myself ( as in everything else ), i allways have some questions, eg.: i would like to know how to add an environment to a scene in a new C4D project, i can't find any options there about that... (background image, (sun?)) maybe they exist ( they have to ) but i can't find it anyway.. :S.

I've been reading about HDRI images, can those be applyed to an environment without the need of external lighting?

If possible i would like to know where can i find some introduction tuts, 'cause right now i can't afford to buy any books :(.

Just do a quick forum search, there are about a million HDRI tutorials. Also check in the library objects area, there are some ready made HDRI balls in there. You could tear those apart to understand how HDRI works.
