CGTalk - Missing effects when importing from Premiere

Hi!

I'm trying to import a project from Premiere Pro 1.5 into After Effects 6.5. It all works fine and all clips are imported, but the effects i've applied in Premiere Pro aren't there. Shouldn't the import replace the PP effects with their corresponding AE effect?

I think you need to render the Premiere clip and import that movie into AE. I'm not aware of AE reading Premiere effects.
