CGTalk - WIP Lost in Thought

I started painting this image and the girl seems as if she is lost in thought, hence the title. I'm still not sure what to do as far as her hand goes. I'm thinking about painting it resting on her chest, maybe fiddling with a locket. Suggestions??

Looking very good - although I must say it's the background that really impresses me. Did you use photo reference?

I'm not sure if she's actually looking lost in her thoughts - looks more like her thoughts were interrupted by someone/something and she looks up to see what it is. This is just my opinion of course.

There's something about her face that really bothers me, but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe one thing is her skin color, that is looking a bit dull and lifeless.

Really good work there though. Keep it up! =)
