Original Post

Hi folks, i've just decided to release small chunks of my first made home-live action film (where 90% of the movie is filled with cg backgrounds, cg-doubles, bad acting, bad bluescreening & a lot of action & comedy :P), when i had 16 years old back then. Since the entire movie is way to big to post anywhere i've tought of releasing these small chunks(which i'll call episodes) weekly.

Here is this Week's Chunk. EPISODE1 The biggining(hosted by my loyal friend DXM):
http://dxm.planetaclix.pt/week1.zip (it's case sensitive so be careful)
(u'll need divx to view it www.divx.com (http://www.divx.com/) )

here is the trailer of the movie (the trailer isnt in english, but the weekly movie chunks have english subtitles):
http://pwp.netcabo.pt/0257549601/r-volution_fasttrailer.avi

Trailer Translation:
"Last night, a military complex was attacked."
"Taken by terrorists entitled Children of Hunger and of Disgrace".
"They say that if their demands are not fulfilled, they will detonate a Super Neutron Bomb."
"Your mission is to enter in that complex, neutrelize the terrorists, and to disarm the Super Bomb."

U might be wondering why i am releasing this. Well, i think film directors want people to watch their movies. that's what we live for, to see and hear the audience expectations(not just to make money, specially in this case this movie was made for a non-profitable gain), see their emotions etc. Above all, i think it's a fun movie to watch, and it will leave in people a smile (or in most cases a lot of laughs, so far what i've seen from the all people who have watched it so far)
please comment as u see it, cuz your comments will surely improve my future movies!

Motion-picture Details: ACTION/COMEDY.Color. Aprox.Duration: 37 minutes.

I'll keep releasing it weekly if it has enough adderence, otherwise it would be wasting my friend's bandwith.

Cheers!

Hope u enjoy it!

PS: I hope to release a list of all "borrowed" sounds from other films/series as well a tracklist of all the musics involved soon. But since they're so many it will take a while. Also don't bother to write to the email in the website, since it has been long abandoned due to excessive spam. Instead write your comments in this thread. Thank you.

not everyone has the gutts to create a movie from nothing...
It's a nice effort, but maybe you should improve your production quality :scream:

hehe lots of work on this one. Couldnt improve many scenes due to the lack of budget(it was practically 0 budget). Cant improve it now, since the movie is complete since March2004. But i'll make sure to improve every critic for my next movies.

bluescreening is my biggest enemy.

cheers ;)

My point is... When I started to see it, the poor images (the problems with the blue-screen, the pixelated bakgrounds, the bad costumes, the not that good lighting...) get me down, by that point for me any plot or direction or even acting was useless... it is like reading a novel full of orthography issues... This kind of videos are really cool for friends and family... I've made my own, and yeah, they mean a lot of work...

what I mean here, is that maybe you should start with something simple, like all directors do; choose a simple situation with almost no FX involved in which you can put your best in the lightig, rythm, performance, costumes, props, etc... don't try to start with the making of a super production by your own... My 2 cents

hope I haven't be too rude, tell me when you get your next short or finish your anime girl character
