After Effects 7 Release Information

If they were to come out this year they'd probably announce it at Siggraph but Adobe doesn't announce stuff until its close to being released.

I was just curious if I could be given some insight on when Adobe is planning and AE 7 release. I friend (dmeyer) informed me that AE7 is in the beta stages and should be release within 6 months. Do you guys and/or girls have any further input on the release or even the product updates.

Nope, and I think it's pointless to wind ourselves up thinking about things we cannot influence or change. I know what I'd want in new releases and if you're missing something specific, you could always file a feature request, but beyond that Adobe doesn't really say anything, not even a release date. When it's here, it's here and that is that.

They announced at NAB that they were licensing some tech from the guys at Curious Software(the ones that make gFX).
