A character I'm designing at the moment for a video game, I call him, Shitface the Butcher.

1 hour copic markers and black prismacolor pencil + some minor photoshop.

well seeing as nobody seem to of critiqued this work....i think it looks pretty nice like the loose style and proportions of the character. think its a shame that the translation from concept character design through to final game graphics always seems to be a bit uninspiring.

the style is incredible. that big circle in the back really helps the graphic design of the piece. the shine on the sword looks out of place, though. everything else is done so stylistically, that the realistic shine looks awkward.

great piece though man :)

I agree with what was said so far. The only thing I don't understand, is the bright spot at the bottom (under the signature)? I don't understand what it is there for - and I think I would personally have left that spot dark.

Really neat concept though - it really transmits the rawness that I believe you're trying to portray. Good job!

i agree with the others, the bright glows on the bottom and off the sword dont really mesh well with the style.you should probably get rid of the glow at the bottom and maybe tone down the swords bright shine. other than that this looks very beautiful i love the style and the name
