How can I SmoothScale in 2D, in Modeler? SmoothScale doesn't work with polys aligned on a single plane or 2-point polys, because it is using the polygon normals. In drawing programs, this is called offset, and ia very useful for creating contours, by example. In Modeler, I could extrude such a contour, creating geometry with thickness, for example.

Have you tried cloning with a Y Scale factor of 100% and X and Z 120% (or whatever you need)?

This is effectively offsetting.

bevel would work with a flat polygon, but you'd need to delete the left over polygons when done.
