What's up to everyone

my Q is how to model that part of phones i marked in attachment? extruding, scaling and rotating polys i think is kind of hard work (for me it's unrealizable) considering that i don't have reference pictures. share your modeling techniques! i'll be thankful for any help.

some more questions:

can sketch extrude modefier extrude by path (spline)? if it can i can't get how
is there in modo displacement maps like in 3D Studio? needs for making holes in dynamic

Of course many ways exists to model a headphone!
But for the top of the headphone I would use some straight bevellings whith subdivisions followed by bending and a mirror for the other side

You can also use the bridge tool....Works well for this type of stuff..
easy..

This is a very basic idea : bridging two edges loops together (I suppose like VisualKing suggested) before smoothing and bending.

Or you can as well give yuor straight headphone to Bender (Futurama robot) saying :
............. 180 degree!!!


............. and just wait for a perfect bending!
