S E D A H 10-14-2002, 02:22 AM l want to paint the lenght for hair and always l take paint and select lenght the lenght of the hair are not resting in the lenght l put in on the beginning they all go really tinny and when l paint them in value of one they do not grow and when a paint them in value of zero they disapear how l can paint then and keep my lenght l ve ste on the beginning l hope l am clear
sorry l speak french if someon could help me with that and speak french tell me l will be more clear

and l do that on polygon on nurbs that works well but on poly that dont work and this is on poly l want that to work

when I selectionne in Paint and lenght my hair becomes very small on the longuer and when I Paint the longuer it does not lengthen that my value either has one or has zero it does not lengthen and this does not make that its on polygons on nurbs its functions very well

Two things:
* Have you made a good U/V map?
* Try increasing the global scale of your fur.
I'm not 100% sure of what you're asking but this helps.

my uv are perfect and increase the global scale or raise the lenght nothing work

Check the "global scale" in the FurDescription atttributes and make sure you turn up the thickness. Maybe it's so thin you can't see it?

Hi, not totally sure what you mean, but perhaps it has something to do with this:
In the FurDescription attributes rollout, open the Details section and scroll down to the Length section. Here you have a value called Map muliplier which are used when painting the length of your hair. By default this is set to 1, and therefore you can only paint fur with length 0 to 1. Increase the Map multiplier value in order to paint longer hair.
