Lo' folks!

This project is only a few hours old yet.
My inspirations com from Crayfish, shrimp, insects and so on.
My sign in the zodiac is Cancer so maybe that is an inspiration too :)

Im thinkin about attaching wings but i dont really know how...
Gimme some feedback please!

Small update... gave her some "weapons". :)

Tried another rendering style... bah took years to render :/

Looking excellent so far. Maybe the parallell ridges could be less paralell and evenly spaced, and less smooth. Maybe if the eyes were smaller and there were some sort of mandibles at the front, it might look more menacing, but perhaps you don't want that.

For reference of a similar creature, one which is very menacing, check out the Atlantis DVD, in the bonus part you see a long rotating view of the cg model of the big robotic lobster-shaped attack sub, or whatever it is. :) Well it's slightly similar... maybe. Anyway it might spark some ideas.
