hello
I am trying to animate a snake-like character.
I am using the SplineIK Solver as recomended in this forum.
1. If the snake raises the head parts of the body sinks into the ground. I could compansate this by adjusting the spline helpers so most of the body stays above the groundline. Is there known technique to solve this?
2. Is there a way to use two or more SplineIK Solver on a hierarchy at the same time? One with a Path Constraint for the movement and another for the head to raise? My hierarchy always breaks apart when trying this. I solved this by wiring the SplineHelpers together to get a "sine wave" (?) movement. (the wiring is very basic and only works in the x-direction).
This are links to a image of the snake rig and a max-file of the snake.

thank you
