View Full Version : particles bugging out
This sucks. When I play my animation from the middle the particles start jumping around before flying off the screen. Usually I just put the marker back at frame 1 and then it resets and is ok, but this time, for some reason, it goes back to looking ok, but then it bugs out every time I play it. Changing the oversampling does not help. Any idea how to fix this?

OK, I just discovered that the particles also go crazy on an older scene that I had saved long before this problem....Is there some global setting I could have changed that would do this? Also, everythings behaves correctly in playblasts. The freak out occurs when I try to run the simulation in the timeline.
nevermind. FIXED. I had forgotten that due to an earlier mistake I had set the timeline to play back at 24 fps. Bah! Wacky.:D
