View Full Version : Diablo car at luxology's homepage tutorial??
Arkitectural 05-26-2005, 05:00 PM Hello Modo fanatics.. :)
Everybody must be wondering how can we get this beautifully modelled diablo car tutorial on luxology's homepage!
Maybe Brad can help us out ? If the artist who did this doesn't feel like sharing it for free, lots of people would be glad to pay for the movie tutorial ! We're included.
So.. are we expecting this tutorial any sooner? :)
thanks

I wouldn't expect a tutorial for that car any time soon. It takes several weeks worth of work to put together a tutorial that size.
On the other hand there is THIS (http://www.3d-palace.com/video.php?vid=63) tutorial over at 3d-palace.com, which is probably the best car modelling video tutorial I have ever seen.
It's for 3DS MAX, but there is absolutely nothing in there that isn't directly transferable to Modo.
That's the great thing about modelling tutorials, they work with just about every 3D software on the market.

Thanks for the link Yog! it's really worth a look!
The thing is when you're a Modo user, you tend to look specifically for modo tuts, since max and modo workflow are not that similar, lotta people may not feel that interested!
Sometimes you would compromise and look for some Lightwave videos instead and apply them to Modo, but one must admist that we (modo users) are still feeling some kind of a lack in video tutorials, compared to this young modelling monster!
Thanks again for the link :) But it won't keep me from looking for my lost holy grail, that Diablo car model using modo man!

I checked that car again,
it's not a Diablo, it's the 2004 Noble M14 car, so that nobody would be led by mistake.
I was surfing the net, and i happened to find this great website about cars blueprints, very very important if you're planning to model a fancy car with MODO, similar to our Holy grail of NOBLE M14 at Luxology's homepage.
Also contains a large blueprints collection of boats, jet fighters, etc..

you'll surely like what you're be seeing inside.
