View Full Version : simple rig control question

Hi everyone,
I have been working on a new rig for one of my characters and everything works fine until I add the nurbs circles for controls. I get the controls in place and properly oriented, but I need to zero out all of the parameter boxes. When I freeze transformations, the orientation goes back to being aligned with world orientation. I tried grabbing the pivot and rotating it, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm sure it's a very simple thing I am missing, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Can anyone help with this please?

Hello Animonster...
afaik you can t freeze / zero out the translation channels....
at least not that way around....
there s a workaround to have it grouped/parented under a node (object,locator,whatever) which then has the translations and the child in question has 0,0,0 relative to it s parent when it shares the same space....dunno if that helps in your case tho....
