Hello,

I was trying to change the selected component color and for some reason
after xsi has been restarted it defaults back to the red color. I need to go to
preferences again and scrub the color change scrollbar thing just enough for
the color to change a little, then xsi recognizes it as the new selected component color
again.

After restarting xsi the new color that I want to use has stayed in the preferences, the problem is that xsi doesn't use it until I go and change it a little.

Am i doing this right? Or is this a ati bug, or xsi bug?

Heres a pic of the situation.

I have tried this with letting xsi create a new "user" folder but nothing changes.

Can someone test if this works correctly with you?

1. Change the default red color to something else. Now xsi should use that new color.
2. Restart xsi
3. Is xsi still using the color that you set earlier? Or is xsi using the default red color again?

I have looked in the manual but it doesnt say anything about this issue. And I searched
two forums now but no help. Please if you/anybody could test this for me, and if it
works with you then I guess I'll need to reinstall xsi to see if that would fix the problem.

Yep, same problem, red color in viewports after restart. In preferences the color is still the new, non-red color

Thnx Lorque for the confirmation.

I will just live with it then, it's not that big of a problem I guess, a little annoying but I'll
manage :)
