a GOOD tutorial list would be nice. I bought rhino back at close to the end of v1.x and was never able to become effcient with the program.
There are tutorials out there that go over the basics and sometimes those are good to remind you of the simple ways of doing things, but there are few tutorials that go over the techniques that need to be used when I find myself scratching my head, and wondering "how am I supposed to do this?"
I guess I should post a link too, instead of filling this topic with useless blah blah, so I will post the most obvious link

Hi guys,
i made a small Video Tutorial showing how to get Rhino models properly into XSI.
Watch it here:Exporting IGES from Rhinoceros to XSI. (http://www.rhinocorner.de/vtm)
There will be (at least i try) more tutorials in the future.
A list of pretty much every web-based rhino tutorial I could find (not including video tutorials). Can use some more sorting (too many stuff under the misc section).

This is a 4 part product visualisation video tutorial on modelling a USB data stick. It takes you from making the first curve all the way to setting up a basic scene with flamingo. you will have to register with 3d palace to download it. The tutorial can be followed by a beginner to Rhino, i hope you like it and any feedback would be most welcome

Why?
Set up your references and go for it.
A tutorial is about how to do, how to create something, not about what to create, so the subject of the tutorial doesn't matter at all.
If you have problems with solving specific problems, you can ask here.

when modeling not a concept car i dont know from where to start what curves is most needed to build a basic car shape,i dont need very detailed car tutorial but the one which explains how to draw curves make a basic shape that i could see the main techniques what is used to do it
Im new in rhino so i dont know this program very well and there isnt many tutorials for newbies
in rhino, all are hard written. So thats why im asking for video tutorial that i could understand most things in rhino.
Thx

When I get some free time I'll clean these links up. If to many links are down then we just need to post more to overcome that fact :)

Its not very polished, but I thought it would be more helpful to have a more real-time walk-through of modeling and sketching. I am still in the process of actually designing the lacrosse stick , so I have posted underlays and sketches on my blog if anyone is interested in pitching a concept or two.
Comments appreciated as I am still in the process of making the videos. Not sure if the stuff is boring and need some classier editing or not. It is easy to do straight screen captures with CamStudio (free opensource capture software) but I dont have much editing capabilities.
Hope this is useful.

Hi
Does anyone know of a good tut on Polygon/meshes? I think I'm OK with curves & surfaces, but looks like I need to get familiar with these litle b....

Rhino is not a Polygon modeling platform.
Modo (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=141) is a dedicated polygon modeling application. You may try 3DS Max, C4D, Maya also.
Wings 3d and Blender are great free alternatives to explore polygon modeling.
Hope this helps.

Thanks again!
Looked at Blender. Maya etc too much time right now. Wings 3d seems too basic.
So Thanks again - might be asking questions on mesh modeling soon!
