View Full Version : please help! rendering problem
ben704 05-25-2005, 10:14 AM hi guys, I have finally finished my animation for a year 12 school assigment, the only problem is that every time i try to render it the computer crashes! its driving me insane. Whilst its rendering i checked the cpu usage and it was at 100%, i thought it may have been over heating so i put a household fan infront of it but this didnt solve the problem. any suggestions would be much appreciated. cheers ben704.

do you render directly to quicktime/avi?
do you have any kind of animated textures (quicktime/avi)
how much RAM do you have and how much does cinema need for your scenes?
what kind of computer do you have? CPU, motherboard, cooling?
Try rendering on a different computer to see if the scene is ok
what about hyperNURBS? not again somebody with three hyperNURBS i hope...
polycount?
if thats not the problem, test your RAM with memtest86 and/or copy the whole scene into a new *.c4d file
