Title: Black Eye...is Watching
Name: Adam Torczynski
Country: Poland
Software: 3ds max
Hello everyone. I'm new here and this is my first submisson here:The BlacEye. This work is very old. I did this in 3ds max 4 just for fun. There is no advanced rendering tricks like GI/HDRI, only smart mapping and clever lighting and finaly... scanline renderer;).The most interesting thing for me is how this work can compete with others;)
Any comments are welcome
Many thanks in advance

vary cool work man!
Lovely, I like the lighting and somehow i do like the noise although i usually hate it. You've done a great job considering this is very old. And its true: it can compete with renders created nowadays with high end renderers and programs.

I really like this image -- normally CG abstracts like this don't have enough randomness for my eye and just end up looking like an equation to me, but I've been starting at it for quite a while now, picking out new details and trying to give them meaning or place.
Works really well as art for me -- color, dirt, shaders, composition.
Well done!

Very cool, almost looks painted in places. The inner spikes near the top look like they've been lit too much, but kudos on a really good piece!
