View Full Version : Resolution For Wide-Screen?
Jonj1611 05-24-2005, 03:40 PM Hi,
I want to produce some landscapes for widescreen and users with 2 monitors.
Anyone know the resolution needed for widescreen monitors and the best way to do images for 2 screens? Also if I am doing a widescreen image, do I need to set the camera up differently?? Thoughts appreciated.

Hi,
Does anyone know the answer to this, I could take a guess, but I don't have a widescreen monitor to test it on.
Thanks Again
Jon
the screen size your looking for is..
2560X2005....
for me this was a perfect fit!
Good luck!

Hi,
Cool, thanks for the response, will try that, hopefully it will fit, in fact will post image when rendered and hopefully someone with a widescreen can try it out! :)
Thanks
Jon
I think most widescreen monitors are 1920x1200 and for dual screen you'd need 2560x960 (or 1024) and 3200x1200

Hi,
Thanks, I think what I will do, is render a new scene at the different resolutions and post it here or on my site and hopefilly someone will have a widescreen monitor to test on :)
