i have searched the forum for solutions and similar problems but didn't find anyone who have the similar problem.
shoulder deformation, i seem to be able to use morph angle deformer on one side of the mesh, and i don't know why.
process:i choose the right upper arm, then select the vertices, apply the morph angle deformer, add editable mesh to the stack, bend and modified the shoulder so it deforms correctly, go back into skin, under envelopes, choose add from stack for the morph angle deformer, delete the editable mesh modifier and it works.
i make a snapshot of the bent arm, mirror it, and hide all the faces except the arm and the shoulder region. i go back to the original model and choose the left upper arm, select the vertices and applied the morph angle deformer, add editable mesh modifier above the skin, then begin to match the vertices to the snapshot mesh. when i'm done, it's just like the right arm, it bends and deforms correctly.
problem:after i complete the left arm deformation, the right arm, the one that i first modified, starts to deform oddly. and i don't know why. i have saved to a different file and tried to modified the right arm again, but when that's done, the left arm's morph angle vertices scattered around the character, but not on the character itself.
i'm baffled and frustrated. hope someone can point out what i am doing wrong.
