Looks great!
I think the bits under the arms.... (Awwww crap, I dont know what they are called, wing muscles) need a more muscular shape/appearance. He his so trim and taught and they are looking a bit flabby-ish. I sugest looking up a pic of Burce Lee he had great ummm what ever those muscles are called. And I think that workout treatment could go on along to the under side of the arms, they look a little saggy.
Oh and his thumb looks to small to go with his fingers... maybe thats a perspective thing.
Hope thats not to harsh
looks good, nice neck.

I kinda agree with you at first, but then, this is no human. I think it will kinda goes well with what it is rite now. Its look weird only coz it resemble a human being but yet it wasnt a human.

Good job there. I agree with the had need more work out.

great work so far, but the palms seems to be reversed and weird. some unnecessary loops...?

looking forward for updates

Very nice model so far. Few small changes that I think would improve what you have. The tendan seems too sharp on the front shoulder to the bicep.. aswell as the sharp fold under the pecks. And the transition between the bicep and forearm could be more toned to fit his torso, perhaps hollowed in more to revealed some of the tendans. Great potential though, you have some nice features in there.

Dude!

You agian with the crazy excellent modeling!

I wish I had a good crit for you, but I don't. I actually really like this. One thing though the index finger looks a bit off, but thats no biggie.

I can't imagine how nuts your work is going to look when you start texturing.:D

Sorry for the fanboyishness, but for someone relatively new to 3d, your making some highly impressive stuff.

Keep it up dude!

Very impressive work I love the way it looks fleshy and while not human the anatomy looks functional ...man you and KWAK make some impressive models with XSI and the SUBd turns out great results . I am using 3D max right now but I am deffinatly going to think about switching to XSI ...

inspiring dude!!!

Now I'm convinced I'll have to get into subD modelling!
I really like how you make them ugly and fleshy like that, the only thing that strikes me now is that his arms seem to be flabby, if that was the intent I would point out that it won't animate well. But I'm sure it wasn't, but still, it looks a bit 'linear' if you take my meaning. :D

This is an amazing model. WOW!! Looks plausible to me and really scary. I am visualizing him with grayish skin with brown mottles. I can see what some people are saying about the palms. They look convex where humans are concave, but this is an alien after all that ostensibly evolved separately from Earth life. I have a scene in my head now where some farmer wakes up at night to strange lights and noises outside and opens the front door to that thing. yeah cliche but scary!!! I am looking forward to see this thing textured.

looks great! i like it's flabbiness around the edge, makes it look like a fish in a way, or like that water man character from Hellboy! how long did it take to model the alien btw?

Hey, I like it! The skin stretching on the body. Just those hands donīt look from same caracter. Do the same thing with it, make those fingers and palm thinner and the skin doing like the rest. And donīt forget the membranes between fingers.

Waiting for ups. :buttrock:
