I just wanted to give you all a sneak preview before the press releases hit.
Janimation just completed work on the launch trailer for John Woo's new Midway game, starring Chow Yun Fat as inspector Tequila, called "Stranglehold". We'll elaborate on all this in the coming days.

Was that trailer directed by Woo himself? It feels like a retreading of all his older Hong kong movies--was that what he intended?

Yeah, I'd think it'd be considered a tribute game. I mean the main character is the same one from Hard Boiled. ( Inspector Tequila ). So in order to give it Woo Flavor we wanted to tip our hat to all of the "great" landmark films of Mr. Woo. By your comments it appears as if we have! Thanks!
