u may suggest me a way in after effects...

i got two clips in the format of Pal D-1, resolution 720*576, but i cant import it to the premiere. how could i correct that? i had opened the the format just exactly as the clips, but it said wrong compressed format, something like that......

any help??

i am actually going to do fade in/out between two clips............

suggest me a way ok?

- Check that your Premiere is using a correct PAL preset for the project.
- Check that your footage is in fileformat Premiere supports (QuickTime, AVI, etc.)
- Check also that footage files don't use any proprietary/hardware codec of another
system or workstation. (I personally use QuickTime Animation codec for 99% of my
work. Works with any hardware/software)

But, if you can't still open those in Premiere but in AE you can (which is odd) you can
just drag the footage files to your timeline and make a opacity animation from clip to another.

Make sure you keep field interlacing in correct order while importing and rendering out the clip ("upper field first" for broadcast and "lower field first" for DV).
