Hey everyone,

I posted this in the Maya forum, but thought I might as well post it here too. Here is a free rig to use for animation exercises, or anything you want really. There are custom attributes on the foot controls (footroll, toepivot, etc.) and on the main CoG control (ball stretch, bend, leg stretch, etc.). Feel free to download the rig if you'd like, and post any comments or questions you have.

Click the link at the bottom.

The rig was built in Maya 5, but should work in newer versions as well (hopefully).

Hi bcairns :wavey:

It looks fine but I have few comments...

- I would say that model has too much polys(13 733 faces) - to slow, especially for me :)
- "loc_knee_L" does not function
- layers > I would rather use rigid bind instead parenting(foots). Because when I uncheck "joints" layer foots disappear. And some layers like "ik_handles" are empty. I think that most animators do not need to many layers like joints, ik handles, deformers blabla. I think that geometry layer, donttouch layer is sufficient in numbers for this case. Sure, thats details

Anyway it is good work and thanks for sharing. I like it. I will try some test leter.

Thanks for the comments.

Okay, I reduced the polycount, I think it's just over 1500 polys now. I fixed the left knee locator, and you can now hide the joints without the feet disappearing :). I reduced the number of layers, but still kept some, like joints, rig, etc. That's just the way I like to have my scene, hehe.

There's also a small test animation on my website if anyone would like to see it :).
