can't understand what you're trying to say. maybe you can rephrase -- and/or add some pics?

the image represents what i want to do.
i end up doing it with max but i still want to learn the maya way because i prefer working with it.
1. so, i've modeled the plektron ( the thing you play guitar with) and used the shape as a costume particle.
dont know how to achieve that with maya.
2. at this point i'll animate the emitter ( no problems here i hope)
3. then, i'll need to add some dynamics ( maybe some wind, and gravity) in order to control the particle animation, right? ( i'll try to find some tuts on that aswell, if someone has some, and like to share i'll thank you)
so this is it
thanks again

Okay, I'm thinking this is what you meant:
Plektron = guitar pick
Costume = instance
You want to use the particle instancer. In the dynamics menu subset, it's in Particles->Create instancer. You have to have the particle object and the master geometry selected. Then every particle that comes out with render as the master geometry (your guitar pick). Futz with fields, emitter attributes, and whatever else you want until it looks like you want.
