I need a head/head and body tutorial that doesnt go in and out of specifics like the ones on the blender site. I want to do heads first because it's the only thing I cant really wing, I know like 1/10 of the basic tools of blender and I need one that purposely dips into all of those. There's certain things about modeling a head that really scare me and with what I know now I cant slowly mold one together. Ontop of that I dont know any simple procedural methods of shaping a general head (the one that takes most people 15 seconds). Ears, nose, mouth, eyes, the ridge of the eyes, hair, it all scares the hell out of me.

I was wondering if not only could someone suggest a head/body tutorial (none from blender site, scaled em all already) and answer a quick couple questions.

Are there any things about a head model that people usually add seperately or do they all just grow it and stretch it off they're head shape?

Can I get a beginners cloth tutorial?

When making a body do most people do that simple procedure like in the modeling a body tutorial on the blender site where you pile up a bunch of cubes real quick then subsurf?

How bout environments for noobs or like a building tutorial that doesnt just show you how THEY made a building but how you'd generally want to go about it so I dont get caught with my pants down later on.

I'd still like to know how you cut into things, like making mouths, or buildings with doors. I'd tried doin that K, knive thing but it just draws a yellow line that I cant get to stay.

Im going nowhere slow and im anxious to reach the point where, if I want to make something, the only thing standing in my way is time and I know every about blender that would be necessary to get the job done. That and I cant wait to make a solid snake model

How about reading the manual first?

It has TONS of mini tutorials included, and is sorted by topic and by tool.

Unfortunately, the only way to learn to do heads is by learning all the basics first. I tried head modeling early, when I probably know about 40% of what I know now, and I couldn't do it, though I leaned a lot from my first attempt. Several attempts later I am now doing my dream model, Yoda. There is no way around the practice it takes. Just like riding a bike, you can only get pointers. Someone can tell you exactly how to do it and yet you still have to practice to make it work. That being said, THIS TUTORIAL (http://www.elysiun.com/tutorials.php?id=3) is a good one for starters.

the best head tutorial dealing with the basics is here: http://www.secondreality.ch/tutorials/modelling/head.html

I've made one head tutorial, it's specifcally done for Blender, so maybe it will be of some use for you.

the link (http://kotinetti.suomi.net/fsware/hippie/tutorial1/index.php)

I really should make some adjustments on it, but not right now.

Whit a body tutorial I can't help you whit.

http://www.visiontovision.com/

blenderhead folders contain a flash tutorials form cube to RVK animated head.

You really can't ask for much more.

Worth the download, even for 56k users.
