This is the ultimate project for me. Im self taught so its a big ccomplishment if i can do it.

Basically im using side/top views for the car. im not using front and back because i wanna try out my own creative "tweaking" for certain things even if it means screwing up multiple times(thats how we all learn heh)

here's what i got so far. i work on this 1h every now and then so its not something i will finish fast but i hope to complete unlike my other models that i start and leave them half done.

Here's the pix:
1st is mesh smoothed to see curves better
2nd is wire

I'm looking for any kind of help u can lay down on me. shortcuts especially to make my modelling a bit faster. im completely used to the main 3ds Max UI so i need to move up to the next level of speed.

PS: Im using planes instead of boxes(as i used to) and im modelling piece by piece instead of a whole body at once(again as i used to) so i think that helped me not screw up AS much as b4.

well the form of the mesh its very good, but i think they have too many polygons.
the best tip.... use lowpoly modeling and extrude edges with "shift"

perdon hablo muy mal ingles pero se deja entender la idea.

yup i know... the front i left alone till i get a nice fender that i like to model after.

i like a bit more poly's in the beginings when i work so it rounds stuff up a bit...but after im done with that im gonna be cutting/welding stuff together so it cuts down on poly's but the shape stays the same.:)
