hey!!
i think i may be having a breakdown.
i can't seem to export or import my biped
i have done this loads of times before, no problem.
what format do i have to export it as?
basically what i have is a manequin type dummy.
he isn't skinned to the biped but the seperate parts of him are just parented to them (could this be the problem?)
i've tried 3ds, fbx and i can't seem to get either to work.
when i import him into the new scene the bones are replaced with Max bones. (this never usually happens i'm sure)
and with 3ds the biped bones are turned to mesh. (i think that may happen normally)
any help would be great with this because as i said, i think i must be losing it.

hey!!

yep, i remembered eventually that it was a merge that i had to do.
thanks.

i just wanted to export it so that i could import it into another max scene

i only needed it for reference so i ended up just using the biped skeleton set to male.

thanks anyway.
