View Full Version : help with water
turby 10-11-2002, 05:41 PM I'm working on a landscape with a sea shore, now I need to find a good setup for the water material itself and for foamly waves, for the sand etc. the question is, how can I obtain the look for the water that is deep blue in the horizon but almost trasparent on the shore, how to obtain good-looking waves that disappears on the sand leaving it wet? and finally, how to make sand becoming dry again?
sorry for my bad bad english, I hope the question is clear...:hmm:
so I'm waiting for your help! :) (I use max)
here is the image I obtained until now

Actually it is done with a falloff map, but isn't so realistic...
My problem in particular is to make them becoming foamly
(same technique of wet sand? :) )
