Hey there. I love time lapse movies. This ones pretty good. The only thing that I would suggest is maybe to turn off shading in the viewport so that the ear doesn't get brighter and darker as you rotate it.

PS what tool did you use in the beginning to "Draw" your edges on the mesh?

you chamfer edges in e-Poly mode ????
It doesn't work for me :( Or are you using
something like Meshtools or Polytools ?
Has the timelapse vid just 3 fps ?!
Cause it stucks every second :(

well I've done some timelapse before...and I hate when it lacks in the viewport bacause of the high fps capture...so this time i decided just go 1fps, and it didn't lack...in 800x600 expert mode...

I use the stadart "Cut" tool in Edge bar

I also used: "CS Polytools, "Meshtools 2.5", "Poly Mesh Tools 0.2" and "Uzife 4") < all in my download section

"CS Polytools, "Meshtools 2.5", "Poly Mesh Tools 0.2" < these are tools to edit the mesh

"Uzife 4" < the paint selection tool (also have the same marker as lightwave...but didn't show !!!)
