Problem:

Can you render the WaveForm (squiggly sound lines) out in AE?

If so, How?

If not, are there any other programs out there that might?

My setup: Mac G5 Dual 2.5 gig, AE 6.5 Pro Bundle

Yes you can! There's a plugin effect called surprisingly Audio Waveform
(Effect->Render menu). It's very easy to use.
