Environment modeler for architectural visualization
Riha Design Group Inc. is looking for experienced 3D modelers to help create photo realistic environments and real-time walkthroughs.
Riha Design provides many services, including Exhibit Design and Construction, Graphic Design, Interior Design and Architecture. We also help visualize non-existing spaces for real estate investment opportunities.
The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the creation of models for various environments from Autocad files as well as building furniture and props designated by the interior design department. He or she will be responsible for modeling and texturing and be able to help with lighting, camera animation, and rendering. Photo quality renders will be created for both stills as well as animations. He or she will be working with the most up to date equipment including hardware and software, using high end rendering packages as well as real time game engines for virtual tours.
Required skills
– Must have strong skills with a major modeling package: 3DS Max, Maya, XSI
– Must be proficient in painting and texturing packages: Adobe Photoshop, Painter, Body Paint or Deep Paint
– Good teamwork, friendly attitude and communication skills a must
– Must be able to learn new techniques independently
– Be able to meet deadlines
– All applicants must be located within the continental United States and be willing to relocate to the Chicago area.
Recommended skills
– Game making experience or photo realistic rendering skills.
– Experience with GI renderer like vray or final render.
