View Full Version : Howcan I create a prisma color "PENCIL" Varient
crossbones 05-18-2005, 12:31 AM Anyone have any ideas on how to create a prisma color pencil varient ( NOT THE MARKER). The best way I can describe the way I use it is that I draw with it and then I can shade with it.In painter the way I am using it now is that I am drawing with the palette knife and then shading with the chalk tool.

I wish I had painter to tell you, as I work extensively with prisma color pencils. Were I to do it with corel or photopaint, I'd make a brush very small with opacity cranked down to oh, 80 or so. Guessing. This probably didn't help you at all..

As far as I know, there is a waxy pencil type in Painter (but I'd have to look it up)....you could set a noise to it, or use a rough paper, so that there's a bit of structure in your pencil strokes.
The prismacolor pencil is soft and smooth but not totally covering your paper.
