Hey...WIP animation critique time!!

Here's the file:

http://cmpa.ca.scad.edu/faculty/lemon/chairmov13.zip
This animation is with a low-res version of the final one, which will have hands and a face.

Does the action read clearly? Is it funny? I'm really concerned about the poses and the motion, so I just want some input. This is not done yet, I still have to animate the chair exploding at the end. Also, sound is not final.

Thanks!
Greg

The actions are very clear, and it is pretty funny. :)

One 'problem area' that drew my attention was his walk cycle at the beginning - it looks like he's walking on his heals (his legs don't seem to straighten out enough at the knees). Throughout the rest of the animation he's moving so fast you really can't tell.

His first fall animation is a little too exagerated, the second one is perfect (his legs bouce up too high for the short distance he fell, making it kinda awekward).

The only part that kinda threw me was when he was jumping side to side to intercept the chair - nothing wrong with the animation itself, but the camera angle kinda threw it off. It made it look like he was jumping forward and back instead of side to side. It's probably much clearer on larger renders however, so it might be fine..

I love the trip animation.. :)
