View Full Version : help:Tweaking Max5 Open GL?
Userx 10-11-2002, 01:13 AM The max5 open gl is getting quite choppy on my computer at around 80 000 polys. I'm on a geforce 3 dual 1.3, i doubt it should be this slow on a system like this... I was just wondering if anyone out there would know a good site or information on tweaking max's openGL.
Thanks,

Try turning the vertical sync off. Helped me a bit with Quadro4 750.

Ahhhh... Might you have installed a game or two on your unit? Get a complete direct x drivers (not from the game) and reinstall.
Edit: Isn't it better to use direct 3d with max on a gaming card?

The latest Detonator drivers come with NView, try disabling that for big performance increases.
