I was modeling a character from the Aaron Sims Michael Isner book, and I am starting to scale the tail, when XSI crashes. I reload my model, and XSI crashes again. Repeat fifty times. I don't know why this keeps happeneing. Is it my construction history, should I freeze it?

Have u tried to Merge your scene into a new one?

File > Merge > [select the scn is givin problems]

Then save as "newname.scn"

PS mmm but why it crashes? lets not worry about it.

Peace.

Could the scene be corrupted, becuase whenever I try to recover it, it always gives me an error message, and nothing comes up, and I have to end up going to Recent Scenes menu, and loading it from there. Would this be a corrupted file, or would a corrupted file not load at all?

Freeze the History and export the model as a MODEL, import it into a new scene a see if the problem persistīs. If so, i dont know :(

Because XSI saved the last four Save you made (adjustable in preferences) for the current version of your scene in that directory. So you might be able to get a previous working copy.

Keep the habit of incrementing your saves.
