for the life of me i cannot remember but have been told somewhere and i cannot find it so my best and last resort is here.

The question: On a bump map which color is up and color is down. cannot remember if white is up and black is down or opposite.. it's really buggin me

white -> up
black -> down

but you can reserve them throw the reserve node :)
