View Full Version : creating a 3D cube in after effects
bzudo 05-16-2005, 04:54 PM Is there a rendering effect in AE 6.5 to create a 3D cube? If so where? If not, what are the coordinates to create a 1:1 ratio cube out of six solid layers?
Sorry for the newb-ness.
Thanks,

Use the 3D Assistants lite that come on the installation CD. Create your cube in a sub-comp and then drag that into your main comp. Activate the collapse transformations/ continuous rasterize as well as the 3D switch for that layer and it will behave like a solid object.
