I just put down some flats to get an idea for the color sheme (red, gold and earthy colors). I think I'm gonna just keep this a character study, so i won't do a background. Let me know what you think about the base colors i picked.

Ooooo! Loreena is very inspiring! I listen to her music a fair bit...my Aunt even lives just down the road from her!

I like this image and the colouring is coming along nicely. I agree with the motion, it flows so well. Nice work!

I was going to ask about a background, but I just saw your post on keeping it as a character study. Should be good regardless. :D
