CGTalk - LW and Messiah

What is the thing that makes Messiah, Messiah? I didn't use it but i heard that's great for animation.

Or, what attributes must be added to Lightwave for not to need Messiah again?

Speed and flexibility and speed an iterative workflow and did I mention SPEED.

I've only played with it briefly at demo shows but like KhoryH said speed. You can do everything Messiah does in LW but Messiah has a powerpack of tools that makes the process faster. By the way the latest issue of 3D World as a demo version on its CD. I've yet to install it becuase I've been to busy modeling lately but will soon and am looking forward to it.

In a related vein how does Messiah compare to Lifeforms?

The workflow.

While other apps have similar features and halfway features and "it look like it on the cover but not really" features, messiah really binds it up for true character animation workflow.

SETUP Mode and the structure of its expressions is grand.
