Personally, I think we need a realflow forum. Comments?

I know, but you can discuss Maya the Maya forum at alias also. That forum has far fewer posts than the Maya forums on cgtalk. I would expect more people to participate on cgtalk than on nextlimit because nextlimit.com is sorta out of everyone's way (so to speak).

I agree!
Would be gerat to have a realflow forum. The actual realflow forums are sort of dead.

Maybe this is a kind of OT, but Nexlimit have now the plugins for Maya 6.5 OSX.

Here's one to keep an eye on in the future as well. No content as of yet, but it is being setup as a dedicated resource for Realflow.

Why don't we make this thread the Realflow forum? They can kill the redundant posts and move things around as needed no? I'm in the middle of a four-day Realflow calculation involving a character re-forming out of a puddle of goo. I'll tell you it's a bugger of a sim and I've capped it at only 100 K particles! Has anyone out there worked on something like this - or does anyone know somethiing about a moving fill volume? It seems that fill volume only works on one frame - the first one - and thats lame. Thoughts?
