I use BP with XSI and feel it works very well.

The BP to XSI connection works well, the projection painting capability in BP is really a time saver. Although the price of BodyPaint 2 is a little steep I would definitely recommend it.

Hi,

It works great -- I use it and recommend it.

I rate it (*****) five stars (out of five).

It's excellent.

BTW -- I feel it's worth every penny of the price. Because of the time and headaches it can save you it should pay for itself easily on the first job you use it.

Cheers,

/joe

Unfortunately when painting bump maps over UV-borders there will be disconunities when rendering in XSI. It's pretty much the same issue as with zBrush. But it's not really Bodypaints fault, it's seemingly a problem how XSI generates the normals from the bump map. The only real workaround seems to carefully unwrap and hide the seams.. So no automated unique UVs / angle based unwrapping...
