Cool...:surprised...really intense man. Love it!!!
How much colour are you going to put in? Looks fine with me now, maybe just detailing would be better.

Man, this style is so cool! I'm trying myself to do shading like that but I never seem to get it right :/

It's hard to give crits on this, because it is so artistic, and I don't feel competent to judge art on those levels. =P
However, I really like what you've done here. It is so raw and intenese, that it could almost reach out and put a mark on the beholder. I feel like I can really connect to this.
One thing I liked better with the B/W version, is that the hand in front of the chest stands out more - in the color version it "vanishes" a bit. I feel that the black hands are key in bringing value and impact to the artwork (just my personal reflection).

yeah...i see what you guys are saying, but it seems to still bother me. im trying to change the style of it all together. But yeah, i liked the hand in the center and i see what you mean when you said it sort of lost its effect when it the red was added
im thinking of going more towards a style like this one, i basically borrowed the style idea from a drawing form derek hess

but i still liked most of the color in the image itself and less of the background, so i think i might keep that
