View Full Version : A Greyer shade of White

When I render an image sequance in AE in all codecs I use apart from Quicktime my white background becomes grey:shrug: Any ideas why and how to avoid it. Its in this case a very simple 4 sec anim with some blue rings intersecting over a white background.

The Quicktime codec ALWAYS has slightly darkened movies. Has since the older Soernson codec came out, and although Sorenson 3 is not quite as bad, the effects can still be noticeable. Here is a thread from a few weeks ago dealing with exactly that, and potential fixes:
