View Full Version : Boxx mice...
dvornik 10-10-2002, 12:46 AM Boxx used to sell their systems with intellimouse optical. It looks like they switched their optical option to kensington 3-button.
Has anyone used one of those, are they any good? Or they sell a different model? I'm not a big fan of kensigton.

Dvornik....
You do know you can buy a microsoft intellimouse, or intellimouse explorer for around 20-30 USD right? It'll work with any system with usb support, including g4's and the new g4 powermac, as well as any retail systems such as boxxtech or alienware.com. Hell, you can even get them in different colors.

I think the mouse is the least of your worries in a system purchase :).

Never mind, I think I made a mistake. I just saw Kensington and was wondering if it was something decent - but I think it's actually the cheap 3 button model. We'll call them. If it was 1 mouse I wouldn't bother, but buying and getting rid of stuff in a bureaucracy is no fun.

Good point,
Their pretty reasonable people. I'm sure if you told them, the whole purchase was hanging on the type of mice the system came with, they'd instantly change the mice :).

Just trying to get the right accessories. We recently had to dig out a box of old mice cause Maya classes were complaining about wheels.
