hi soriah,

Two things I notice as I look at it...

First, punch out your shadows and lights, be bold! There are a lot of light tones here which are washing out your image.

Second, your placement of features is right on spatially. But everything needs more definition of line, especially the nose area. I'd say block the shadows in more strongly and see if that solves the mouth problem.

My suspicion is that the corner of her mouth on her left isn't going quite so far up as it is in your pic... this is giving the mouth a tilted look in comparison to the rest of the face.

hope this helps, & happy drawing!

Also, think of where your light source is coming from, is it above? from one side?

At the moment, the shades of every side of her face, including the underneath, have the same value, so it lacks a bit of depth and makes it look a little flat.

Add some shade to it and it will help bring the features out...think of where the shadows would form if say, a strong light was shining on the left side of her face; raised areas will be generally lighter than ones which arent.

Hope this helps also. Enjoy yourself :)
