Edit: I should also mention my age: 19

This is my second animation with maya. If you want to see the first one, I'd be happy to post it. It's of space ships timed to that annoying Ozone - Dragostea Din Tei song.

The pillow moves in time with the music. The music is from Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times. I spent about one day's worth animating over the course of two weeks. The modeling took about one day's worth of time. The rendering of my frames took three days. I did all the work around a busy college semester. I can't wait to purchase maya at home and show more work here this summer.
(maya 6 was used)

Please give critiques because I still have much to learn. I'm stunned that nobody cares to tell me anything. I'm waiting for comments and really want to here something. If you want a quicktime version, I can put that up on Monday.

Also note that the pillow looks a little different in the old render from the final animation.

hey

for your second animation, id say its pretty good. From the quick look i had, the main points id give you would to be, anchor that camera a bit more, it moves around far too quickly and fast and you kinda lose a lot of the animation cause the camera is flying about. keep it still with maybe only a couple cuts and pans.

id also say that the jumps that the pillow does seem a bit floaty and dont have any weight to them at times.

but as i say for your second animation its a good job.

cheers
