Has anyone else got total system freeze ups when you select OpenGL mode in the preferences?

I have a chaintech G-Force4ti 4200 128mb graphics card.

not on my current machine... but on my old g4 powerbook i got some really weird effects (complete system slow down, till eventually it suddenly stopped, and the screen started fading through into green in areas... restarted and everything was fine again) dunno what that's all about, some hardware fault i should imagine. but i'm still slightly suspicious of the opengl in release 8... could do with a few little tweaks to sotp it being so buggy.

I am running a 2.5GHz Dell with a G-Force4ti 4200 128MB card for the last 4 days on R8 with OpenGL with no problems, yet.:thumbsup:
