Hi all!

How would you make matte on blue screened still images ?
I have to make lots of compositions/collages from furry cats photographs taken with blue screens.
(Using photoshop or whatever the software is if it is not a copositing one)

I would like something else than the magic wand solution of this thread http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=42052

Thanks all

in case of cut out hair and such stuff use plugins like knockout or ultimatte both available for photoshop

I would use the polygonal lasso tool to extract the main bit and then for the fur I would use the Photoshop-'extract' tool, although not as good as AE's keying tools (which allow for many more keying options, such as spill, gain etc...)

or google from chroma-keying / using the PS extract tool

=)
