Hello,

I've been working on a Conan model for the past 5 weeks or so in XSI. The model is based on a Todd McFarlane figure that was just released. I have the set (throne, curtain, etc) mostly complete which I will post later when it is finished. For now I just want some feedback, suggestions, and/or critiques on the model. I have yet to do the shin and forearm guards which are quite intricate and I am going to redo the cloth around his waist as I dont think it looks as if it is laying correctly.

Thanks,

Really good model, but what's happened to the ankles and wrist areas? If the guy's got as much muscle as here, those areas have got to be bigger and more muscular.

NIce detail on armor, very nice indeed.

I think your anatomy looks a bit off. Especially the definition of the muslces. Some parts of his body look very "cartoony" or stylized, while others look more realistic.

And the face doesn't seem to be adding too much to the model.

Good work.

Thanks InKraBid; I will definitely work on the ankles and wrists a bit more - I agree with the wrists being to small. The forearms in general, need to be tweeked to appear more muscular.
Again, thanks for the critique and comments.

Thanks for the comments and critiques Lordiego01. I am still planning on revising certain areas of the anatomy - such as the forearms, wrists, lower legs and neck. Could you be more specific about which parts look "cartoony" as I am going for a more realistic look.

Thanks again!
